Although whale sharks may be found almost year round near La Paz, current environmental legislation only allows us to look for them between October 1st and April 30th. This is when there is most food around and the number of sharks present is higher, therefore reducing the disturbance to each creature. We love going to see the whale sharks and feel very privileged that the biggest fish in the world can be found here. This excursion takes places on a panga and is designed to get you up close and personal with these amazing animals. We run small, customised trips to allow you to make the most of your experience. This excursion can be made into a day trip with a visit to snorkel at a sealion colony and also include lunch on a beautiful beach.
